During Travelling or some other places when our mobile phone battery discharged & we need to make an urgent call. charging of Mobile required but we forget our charger at home. in such situations we generally get charged our devices with Common charging stations.
if you are at Airports or in a Shopping Mall , it is not a Big problem because these places have there own Multiple charging connectorswhich can charge so many different phones simultaneously. such charging stations looks convenient but carry Risk to some extent.
Recent reports from security researchers warned that public charging places may be configured to upload Malware , Virus on Phone or some time data can be download during charging of device.
How to keep safe our Mobile device with all above happening :
Basically there are two ways to charge our phone battery. first , you can use a direct cable which is plugged directly in Power Socket or Second , with using of USB based chargers which draws power from PC. in second options , Mobile charging may be on Risk as all the mobile data are accessible by PC admin who is not visible to us.
To Avoid this , just remeber to Power off Mobile device completely before plugged in for charging & you will be Safe.
